Hello! I'm Lesley. I'm new. This is my first Olympics.
Frankly, I'm slightly terrified of this experience only in that I have no idea what to plan for other than what has been foretold by Jessica and Lara. I love their enthusiasm. Which means conversely I'm excited for the unknown and what could happen.
My concerns consist of only a few but the biggest is: what am I going to wear? Yeah, I know, stereotypical BS. Whatever. I'm not gonna deny I prefer to look my best. Like Lara says, we'll be the cute ones cheering on that one guy as he kills his major figure skating achievement, capturing the hearts of millions.
(PS, I'm not the sports type)
Anyway, what AM I going to wear? I've gotta find something that is warm, can last all day under a parka and come out unwrinkled in that effortless 'apres ski' sort of way... Ideas welcomed.
Other concerns include:
Legit late night karaoke, soju shots, finding the best Korean bbq, trying to speak another language, skincare overhaul and many more.

Talking of skincare... I'm a makeup and skincare fanatic. I love makeup. I love cleansers. I love oils, masks, scrubs, you name it. If it is associated with a spa, I love it. I love taking care of my skin and Korean women love taking care of their skin too! There is even a K beauty movement going on because of their obsession!
So with that, I have a skincare plan for all of us while we're in Korea. We are going to "do as the Korean ladies do" every night before bed. For the research I've done, Korean ladies have multi step skincare processes of which we (probably more like I) will be following. They can be anywhere between 10 and 15 steps women do every night! With being out in the elements we will have some major chapped skin and I'm not chancing furthering my fine lines without fully mastering the korean skincare process. I have a rough plan put together of which I'll outline later.
Anyway, thanks for reading, I can't wait to for this experience and hopefully we don't get arrested.
